What we fitted
Made-to-measure white café-style plantation shutters across the lower half of the window, sized to sit cleanly below the existing floral valance and curtains. Four panels with adjustable louvres give flexible privacy and light control without dressing out the upper glass — a practical layout for a street-facing bedroom that still feels bright.
