A small window, a clear before and after. In this Wakefield loft room we fitted a made-to-measure white plantation shutter into a deep recess beside a skylight, so the overlooked opening reads as a finished feature with proper light and privacy control.

What we fitted
A single made-to-measure white plantation shutter in the recessed side window, sized to the opening so the frame sits cleanly in the reveal. Louvres give filtered light and privacy without heavy curtains in a compact loft space; the neighbouring skylight stays clear for daylight from above.
